Authentic Luxury Finishes Come In This Size Too!

As part of our series that hopefully encourages you to compare the level of finishes (“upgrades” as other builders call them). As builders of some of London’s highest end homes, we’ve worked to find ways of incorporating the same features and finishes we garnish our upscale homes.
The heart of the home, we prize and cherish this space, giving it special attention. From the practical quality details like all soft-close hinge systems to the top tier countertops and stone mosaic back splashes, not to mention more than generous cabinetry space and features, our designer kitchens are truly a place to be.

Besides important shared space like the kitchen, we like to think we’ve made your “me -time” world class. Exotic stone flooring, glass and tiled showers, designer fixtures and freestanding tubs, you could be in a home with three times the price tag.

Authentic cedar shake, real board and batten, and stone facades, materials and techniques used on upscale homes for some serious curb appeal, not to mention high end lighting. A single fixture on this home costs more than all the exterior fixtures combined of other comparable homes this size.

Welcoming open to above entrances really add to the feeling of space, and practical mud room/ garage entrances for lucky homeowners with ample storage and built-ins are practical. With thoughtful layout design, features and spaces (like kitchen head-walls, multiple hubs) found in larger homes abound. We packed in as much ‘life’ as we could in these great layouts.

With the exact same level of finishes as upstairs, we’d dare say that our basements have higher end finishes than the main floors of the rest of the homes in the neighbourhood… Where else have you seen a a second gas fireplace and custom built mantle in a home under a half million? Not to mention marble mosaic floors and oversized windows. These windows are the largest you’ll find in a basement this size!

Unmatched Value In Fox Field Home For Sale

We’re on the home stretch with our latest models on Tokala Trail in the North London Creekview subdivision (inside Fox Field). We really encourage savvy homebuyers to truly compare our product, both in design and level of finishes; to get a real grasp of the unmatched value we offer. A quick walkthrough will reveal the following (Click on image to enlarge photos):

We’ve put a lot of effort in sourcing our finishes, and one of the places it becomes most obvious is in gorgeous lighting fixtures. Fixtures really help to ‘make the room’ and even though they are some of the most expensive finish items, we think it’s worth the investment.

With designer Grohe faucets, freestanding tubs and fillers, top mounted basins…

Trim sizes and are almost twice those of “standard” trim, and built-ins are custom built on-site. Designer step and flat trim as well as flat multi panelled doors fit the design vernacular perfectly, even. No carpet wrapped stairs here, our stairs are professionally varnished and spindles lacquer painted by a furniture finisher, not a painter. Ask any other builder who finishes their stairs…

With exotic stone mosaic on floors, and backslashes, even on entire feature walls, we’re cheeky enough to ask you to compare even some of the highest ticket homes in the city. Ranging up to $50/sf, these stunning finishes really add to the ‘moments’ we pursue when we design our homes; we hope the effort we put into this is obvious. floor to ceiling tiled baths creek view london

We hate cheap hardwood floors too. Gaps, weak varnish, instability and small multi-coloured pieces of wood are not what you find in high end homes. Serious, 6″ wide engineered planks, 3 to 5 feet long with oil UV commercial grade finish is more like it. That’s what you’ll find on the entire main floor of your home.

Making Things Happen

One of the great things we enjoy every time we show an Oak home is the result of much research and tinkering – our great layouts! Great spaces are designed not only to maximize space, but also to create a desirable setting for one’s lifestyle. In the PorchLight model we were keen to create a unique living space in the kitchen / hub area; and one of the things we did was fit the fridge flush into the wall, making room for a head wall. The latest being built (with some incredible finishes as shown below) has a few inches restricted due to the lot size. To keep the fridge placement we had to steal a couple inches by ”thinning” the wall separation behind the fridge. Basically the studs are on their side and fittings are specially sized. Gotta make things happen…

If you were to trespass an Oak home nearing completion (armed with a cell phone camera) the following is what you would see…

We’re quite confident nobody offers what we do for the ”what you see is what you get” policy. Not only do we share most suppliers and trades people with our million dollar homes, we employ the same process and techniques, not to mention unheard of finishes. Take a quick look, and we kindly request to compare for yourself.
