One of the great things we enjoy every time we show an Oak home is the result of much research and tinkering – our great layouts! Great spaces are designed not only to maximize space, but also to create a desirable setting for one’s lifestyle. In the PorchLight model we were keen to create a unique living space in the kitchen / hub area; and one of the things we did was fit the fridge flush into the wall, making room for a head wall. The latest being built (with some incredible finishes as shown below) has a few inches restricted due to the lot size. To keep the fridge placement we had to steal a couple inches by ”thinning” the wall separation behind the fridge. Basically the studs are on their side and fittings are specially sized. Gotta make things happen…
